Sovereignty of the Swan: Geneva

The only place in the world, where I could lie down on the grass, with my head connected to the earth, eyes closed but yet clearly seeing the sky, my ears blocking out the world but still hearing the birds, and then you realize the best things in life really are free! For every Swiss, there's two swans! :) Be careful though, not all of them find the attention flattering! Other than its stunning natural beauty, Geneva is really laid back, unreasonably expensive and you often find yourself with nothing to admire (culturally I mean). The only prominent landmark is the Jet d'eau, and you never forget the rush as you stand right in front of this water giant (the tallest fountain in Europe which gushes 500 litres of water per second!) Swiss food is delicious (although I could only afford what was sold in supermarkets but once Im a millionaire, the first thing I will do is eat in a nice Swiss restaurant! anyhoo..), they even have their own camembert (but can't hold a candle to the French version) The Swiss are kind, chic, rich(very) and too health conscious. You either wear a classy suit or jogging pants, cuz anything in between will be out of place! Oh Swiss men, are not really good looking but they are always well dressed (which is an important criterion) and very respectful (the most important!). Geneva is recommended only for nature lovers, those who are really rich but mostly for those who just want to be :)
